IPA Chili

1 Sweet Onion, Chopped

1 Tablespoon Butter 

1 1/2lb Ground Beef

3 Tablespoons IPA Chili Seasoning

1 Cup Beef Broth

1/2 Can/Bottle (6oz.) IPA Beer

2 Cans Pinto Beans, 16oz. each - drained & rinsed

1 Cans Kidney Beans, 16oz. - drained & rinsed

2 Cans, 14.5 oz. each, Diced Tomatoes

1 Red Bell Pepper, chopped

1 Green Bell Pepper, chopped


1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt



In large chili pot add butter and chopped onion.  Saute over medium-high heat until onions begin to caramelize. 

Add ground beef to the onions and fry until almost cooked. Add the IPA Chili Seasoning and finish browning the meat.

After mixture is well blended add Beef Broth, Beer, Beans, Tomatoes, Bell Peppers and salt to taste.

Reduce to medium-low heat and cook for 35-40 minutes stirring occasionally.

Serve warm with toppings of choice and a good bottle of IPA. . We recommend sharp cheddar cheese & sour cream.
